Most of us long for the pre-pandemic days, yet they seem so far away, but my longing doesn’t hit the breaks until we reach a time when traveling to my grandparents’ house in Ramallah was much easier, where my mom grew up and love and laughter were the norm, and my biggest fears were to be bit by a lizard (again!) or for my sister to steal my candy.

 

But more than anything, I long for a future where such peaceful days are the norm, and only stories of love and peace are told. Do you want the same?
